This event was held at Pesta Penang site in Sungai Nibong, Penang. Poh Yit May the then 17 years old and waiting for the SPM result was declared the winner. She won RM3000, sash and crown, hamper and complimentray stay in Rasa Sayang Resort. The first runner up was Rozifah Othman and won Rm2000, trophy, hamper and other sponsored gifts. Rozifah was also the 2nd runners up in Miss Pesta Pulau Pinang back in 1991. The 2nd runners up this time was Lim Phaik Hong who took home RM1000 and other gifts.
