10 contestants between the age of 19 and 25 strutted down the stage and answered challenging questions in order to win the judges' heart at the recent Miss Astro Chinese International 2010 pageant. And one girl managed to stand out; she is Emily Yap Yi Xiu. Congrats!
During the last semi-finals, Emily, in a Q&A session, answered that her challenge would be people criticising her on the Internet. "Having to read about critique on the Internet is really not easy. If it is constructive i would appeciate it and try to improve but some are just baseless personal attacks," said Emily.
