KUALA LUMPUR: Local beauty products founder Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya, 47, has been reported missing by her family members after she left her house in Gombak for Banting a week ago.
It is learnt that founder of Nouv elle Visages cosmetic line failed to return home after telling one of her daughters that she would be going to Banting for three days.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah said police had received a report on the disappearance of Sosilawati, who is the ex-wife of rock singer Nash,
“From our initial investigation, we found that her family has not received any threat on her life or a phone call for ransom.
“Her children have not been able to contact her on her mobile phone,” he said, when contacted yesterday.
Police is classifying this as a missing person case.
At Sosilawati’s house last night, one of her daughters said her mother had gone back to her village. — Bernama
