IPOH: The Perak Government is not involved in organising Miss Bikini/World Hawaii at Pangkor Island Beach Resort scheduled for Oct 7 and 8, said state Tourism and Women's Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Hamidah Osman.
She said the Manjung district council had been ordered to stop the planned beauty pageant as it did not have a permit.
She was commenting on a re-port that the resort was planning to host Miss Bikini/World Hawaii 2011 Malaysia and Malaysia Club DJ Mixing Challenge 2011 Natio-nal Grand Final as part of the Full Moon Beach Party with special packages offered to guests. - Bernama
