Misbahiyah was voted winner of Miss Malaysia Model Quest 1997. She stands at 1.70m, a full time model. The 1st runner up was Michelle Chong who stands at 1.71m
Taranjit Kaur who stands at 1.74m was the winner of Miss Malaysia Nation while Jane Chang who stands at 1.72 was 1st runner up.
