THE national grand finals of the Miss Malaysia Princess of the World 2010 beauty pageant will be held tomorrow at the Grand Paragon Hotel in Johor Baru.
The event is presented by the hotel and Starz Management.
Starz Management project coordinator Anna Koh said the winner would go home with RM10,000 and the title of Miss Malaysia Princess of the World 2010.
"The winner will also qualify for the world finals of the Miss Princess of the World 2010 beauty pageant in Prague, Czech Republic," she said.
The first runner-up will receive RM1,000 while the second runner-up will get RM500.
Eight subsidiary titles worth RM300 each are also up for grabs.
The preview shows were held at the hotel's Sky Lounge and Paragon Ginza Lounge yesterday and on Aug 31.
ParagonGinza Lounge general manager Steven Lim, who also serves as the event consultant, said the beauty pageant was a good way to promote Johor Baru as a choice destination for events.
"The dinner and show during the finals is one of the premier activities we have lined-up for the pageant," he said.
Hotel sales and marketing assistant director Delia Goh said they were working hard to ensure the event's success.
"We are honoured to be part of this event," she said.
The previous edition of the pageant was also held in Johor Baru with the participation of the hotel.
