What a coincidence....there were several years that things happen seems very odd.
Way back in 1993 when Malaysia had Lucy Narayanasamy as Miss Malaysia Universe..then Singapore elected Rena Rahmiah as Miss Singapore Universe. Both have Indian root.
And in 1995 when Malaysia selected suziela Azrai as the winner of Miss Malaysia Universe, then Singapore had Tun Neesa Abdullah. Both of them are Malays.
In the year 2000, Malaysia had Lynnette Mei Ling Ludi, then Singapore had Eunice Olsen-both of them had Eurasian features.
The history seems to repeat itself. Malaysia has Nadine Ann Thomas and Singapore just electing Tania Lim as winner. Both have exotic mix-parentage look.
