There was no real elected queen crowned to represent Malaysia in Miss Wonderland International 1986 in Japan and the very 1st time, 5 Malaysian girls were selected to go. Their selection is based on which girls who had won a certain sub titles. They were:
1-Jacqline Gunasekera-Miss Friendship.
2-Claudia Gunasekera-Miss Photogenic.
3-Marianna Siew Lee Lee-Miss Model.
4-Megan Wong Way Mun-MisIntelligence.
5-Stephanie Law Kwee Hong-Miss Personality.
This event was organized by Purssia Sdn. bhd. and Okora Publication and Advertising Sdn. Bhd and 35 contestants took part.
