Miss Blind RS, Giselle Hubbe, participated in the 2011 Miss DV BRAZIL on July 23, the AABB (Athletic Association of the Bank of Brazil), Natal / RN. In its first edition, the event organized by the Association of the Blind of Rio Grande do Norte (ADEVIRN) seeks to empower women visually impaired.
Giselle competed against 17 candidates, aged between 16 and 35, the following states: Bahia, Ceará, DISTRICT FEDERAL, Maranhao, Para, Paraiba, Parana, Pernambuco, Piauí, RIO DE JANEIRO, RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, Sao Paulo and Sergipe. The evaluation of candidates passing the following criteria: friendliness, beauty, elegance, charm, parade of swimsuit and evening dress. And as a prize, the winner received a weekend with the right to a companion in a city in Brazil of your choice.Giselle was named Miss Blind RS on June 7, at an event sponsored by the Association for the Blind of Rio Grande do Sul (ACERGS). Subsistence expenses and airfare to the national final will be paid by the partnership between ADEVIRN and ACERGS
