Yah Rahayu was among the most active girl in Malaysian beauty pageant circuits in the 90's. She could be seen entering many beauty pageants and the best of all, she got her father's full backing in this industry. Her father would follow her around to make sure nobody will mess around with her daughter and to ensure her safety as most beauty pageants that time ended after midnight.
