FLORINDA: Simple girl who loves shopping
SHE first shot to fame when she participated in Model Search 2004.
She seemed to have everything a girl could ever dream of at the tender age of 17. She managed a fourth place in the competition and the title "Miss Body Beautiful".
Now 22, model and actress Florinda Johnson has a beautiful family of her own and says she's very blessed.
Malay Mail talked to the beauty queen on her hopes, dreams and life since getting hitched.
"I used to have a very hectic schedule before I got my baby girl, Andria Lara Copila. My life feels complete and I do not take things for granted anymore, at least I try not to.
"I'm not perfect and I'm trying to be a better person," she said. Since becoming mother to one-year-old Andria, Florinda said she is happier than ever and most of her time is spent looking after her daughter.
Also, she said that her family gathers at her home a lot to tighten the bond that they have.
"Family means the world to me," she said.
Florinda added that she appreciates some quiet time by herself.
"I'm just like any other person, I'm a simple girl, a very low profile individual. If I were to describe myself, I'd say I'm someone who is simple, humble and kind. I am definitely hardworking.
"But since I have a family of my own now, I appreciate my private time more. Being a freelance model enables me to work at my own time.
"I surf the Internet, read and hang out with my family during my free time. Shopping too, of course. I just love shopping!"
Although Florinda is grateful for all that she is today, she wishes to return to modelling and to start acting again.
"I can't wait to start modelling and acting again. It would be great to get offers," said Johnson, who describes her fashion sense as unique.
"What I hope to achieve in the near future is a better life, more job offers from modelling agencies, photoshoots and acting in Kuala Lumpur."
